Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter testing season, it is essential that all students come to school every day with a fully charged laptop and their charger. This ensures that they are prepared for testing and classroom activities without interruption.

Key Reminders:
  • If your student uses a personal laptop, they will need to borrow a school-issued laptop for testing purposes.
  • While iPads and tablets are OCPS-approved devices for high school students, many students use them as they would a phone, which can limit functionality during instruction and testing. We strongly encourage students to bring their OCPS-issued laptop instead of a tablet whenever possible.
  • On non-testing days, if a student forgets their laptop and already has an OCPS device checked out, they cannot borrow an additional spare laptop. Our inventory is limited, and students may only have one device checked out at a time.
Bringing a charged laptop and charger every day is critical for learning and success during testing. Thank you for helping us ensure your student is prepared!
